How does lockdown, wearing mouth and nose protection and the minimum distance of 150 centimeters affect our bodies and our psyche on a collective and individual level? Proximity and the feeling of comfort – or discomfort – which come along with the feeling of being close or far away of each other are presented in the work of the female dance ensemble. Bodies, near or far, are bound by experiences that go beyond knowing. The short piece shown at the Reeperbahn Festival takes up freedom of movement and the topic of social distancing in a playful and abstract way. They also deal with the topic of femininity and being a woman – on an individual, collective and social level.
