Why does the soul not fly, when it hears is call?
Why does a fish, gasping on land, but near the water, not move back into the sea?
What keeps us from joining the dance that dust particles do?
Look at their subtle motions in sunlight.

DANCETHERAPY
Dance therapy is a creative therapeutic approach within the arts and therapy, aimed at fostering emotional, cognitive, physical, social, and spiritual growth through the therapeutic use of dance and movement. The body serves as the central medium of expression, as movement is the language of the body. Through this process, movers can connect deeply with inner feelings and memories, transforming the body into a source of knowledge via its sensory awareness. When one learns to interpret this nuanced language, new and creative movements can arise.
Dance is inherently tied to physicality—every human experience is felt and stored in the body until it is transcended. The body holds past experiences that may be blocked or unconscious, yet can be reawakened and made visible through movement. Because these experiential processes often happen beneath conscious awareness, it is only through focused attention on bodily sensations and spatial-temporal perceptions that unconscious, habitual, or emerging themes surface. This process allows the creative life force to flow anew, lifting and transforming inner states.
RE-WRITING THE BODY
BODYWORK
Bodywork is a holistic practice that nurtures the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit. Through mindful touch and movement, it supports healing, balance, and self-awareness—inviting the body to reveal its own wisdom and guide the journey toward wellbeing.
The body is the first physical home in this world. It needs as much care, love, attention, and nourishment as the being housed inside. Touch enables the somatic recognition of the self in the body through awareness. Through the medium of the body as a mirror and mediator, balance can be re-established. By tuning into the body’s signals, bodywork helps unlock stored tensions and forgotten stories, allowing deeper presence and renewal.
My practice is influenced by methods such as Ilan Lev, Feldenkrais, Shiatsu, Reiki, Somatic Experiencing, classical massage, and approaches from Anna and Daria Halprin as well as Authentic Movement—alongside my own experiences in (professional) dance. Throughout my work with the body, I continue to deepen my natural and embodied understanding of its language.
