Working across movement, sound, film, poetry, and visual art, I’m drawn to the unique perspectives and sensual experiences each medium offers. For me, the body — as a living, sensing organism — is a site where impressions are received, processed, and transformed. Within this space, new horizons of expression can unfold, and through the act of watching and experiencing dance, emotions and images arise within the viewer as well. Here lies the potential for subtle inner shifts to ripple outward into the world.

Ultimately, all of my work is rooted in a vision of fostering communal understanding and empathy. I’m passionate about creating spaces where people can meet each other with honesty, playfulness, and authenticity—recognizing that true connection requires this necessary states of openness, joy or courage.«

Lina Lev is a multidisciplinary artist working across dance, performance and choreography - moving fluidly between disciplines of Fine Art, Literature, Poetry, Film, Photography or Activism. For her, dance is a heartfelt journey: a continuous current that weaves together emotion, intuition, and presence. It opens space for connection, reflection, and transformation.

Lina Lev has collaborated with artists such as Cie. Willi Dorner, Deichkind, Patricia C. Mai, Katia Reshetnikova, and Anna-Kristine Linke in Vienna, Berlin, Hamburg, Hanover, Bremen, Hellerau, Cologne, Heidelberg, and Tel Aviv.

Her institutional partnerships — as a festival coordinator or movement facilitator — include Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, ImPulsTanz, Tanz im August, Theater der Welt, Open Spaces, Tanzbiennale, Heidelberger Stückemarkt, Tanz! Heilbronn, and SEAD – Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance.

As part of the female ensemble Kollektiva., Lina Lev contributed as a dancer, dramaturge, and producer, performing at various festivals and participating in residencies across Europe. Her own works, (OP)POSING BODIES and FEMALE BODIES, premiered at Kurpfälzisches Museum Heidelberg.

Guided by her interest in social issues, Lina Lev also works with children — especially those who are forgotten, discriminated against, or struggling to find their place, encouraging them to discover their own path and voice in the world. This engagement offers her a meaningful balance between social contribution and creativity.

Beyond the stage and work, Lina Lev is currently writing her debut novel and enjoys peaceful days in nature, the company of friends and a good cup of tea.
